Member of the Month
Each month, we choose a particularly hard working member to be 'Member of the Month'. These members have usually gone the extra mile and put lots of effort into their work, and perhaps been supportive or kind to other members. The Member of the Month will be sent a certificate and a rosette.
Ariana was thrilled to be the Horse Care Club's Member of the Month due to all her hard work, getting brilliant scores in the quizzes and her lovely supportive comments to other members! Ariana told us all about how she has recently got into ponies and is now learning so much through the club!
Maddison
'Maddison is 7. She has been a member of the Horse Care Club since January 2021 having previously completed the three children's courses through Equine Distance Learning during the first lockdown.
She doesn't have her own horse (she normally rides at a riding school) but the activities are designed that you don't need a horse to be able to do them. When she does see a horse, she loves repeating all the things she has learnt! The monthly modules are great, if she doesn't feel like doing the reading then there is a recording of the information, and the videos are clear too. She has a little folder now with all her work in and she is so proud of all she is learning. Thank you for creating this club!'
Noah
'My 9 year old son Noah absolutely loves the Horse Care Club online topics. He really enjoyed using a laptop and the HCC course really engages him to learn all about horses and ponies with all their needs and know how's! He loves learning about them as he can then put this into practise when he goes to the stables to visit his pony and when he's riding. It really does give him the knowledge that he wants and needs to know. It is also great that I also learn everything as we do it together. We've also purchased the HCC hoodie, t shirt and scrapbook too which are fantastic!'

The Horse Care Club is excellent for keeping my daughter engaged with ponies when riding is a bit difficult. She has learnt so much and impresses her instructor all the time! She loves the craft activities. She's really looking forward to her first badge!

'The Horse Care Club is great in the sense Grace and I get to do something together, and also some of the fun activities that her younger sister can get involved in too.

'The club has been amazing at keeping Lilly engaged and connected to the stables even if virtually! She’s enjoyed making a variety of different crafts, has worked hard to be chosen as member of the month for July and won a competition in August for her poster of a horse's hoof!
